A Revolutionary New Training Programme For Young Rugby Players and their Parents!
FFS stands for Fitter, Faster and Stronger! Through years of working with kids, we believe following a fun sports specific programme around key fundamentals will allow kids to not only stay active and healthy, but develop life skills around discipline, training, goal setting and many other aspects of life. 
Designed specifically for kids at an important development age of 8-13 (but not limited to). A key objective we have is to build stronger relationships between children and parents, having parents become a 1-1 coach. Our aim is to find a balance to help busy parents utilise 30-40 minutes, twice a week, during programmes that combine;
FUN! Without this there is no point!

Working with your child
In the age of smartphones, boys and girls are spending more and more time in front of screens. Our platform provides a combination of using technology and getting kids outside and active. It's a new dynamic that will help parents teach their kids in a format they can do alongside their children. FFS also stands for fun, failure and success, these are important elements of life for your children to learn. Having an open mind, knowing there is no silver bullet to coaching or parenting, realising the challenges and experiences throughout the journey. The Why!
FFS are passionate about getting kids involved with sports, one of the main drivers being mothers and fathers influence through encouragement and involvement. We understand the importance of development at such a young age so the training methods, workouts and drills have been developed through a combination of in depth research and years of experience. Allowing us to create an effective training platform that makes it fun and easy for parents to spend some 1 on 1 time and be a coach to their boys or girls. All while acheiving the benefits of becoming more active, healthy and developing as athletes.
Our training approach
Our platform utilises a range of fun, simple, and effective drills creating a programme that is broken down into 2 sessions a week. Covering different aspects of the game such as the importance of warming up, basic fundamental skills and making fitness fun. The focus is rugby but part of our training develops many skills, principles and encourages a good work ethic, all transferable to other sports.
Through our extensive research and experience the sessions have been developed by breaking down the different components of the game. Using various drills to make sessions challenging, engaging and fun. The breakdown is shown below, explaining the session and what we feel is important for development.

Understanding the outcomes
It’s not limited to rugby, a lot of the drills relate to a wide variety of sports and this is something we will help you find out about your child. At this age kids can go in any direction with what they want to do or what sport if any they want to play- this is a mechanism to help you find out while giving them what they will really love...Your time!

TRAINING EQUIPMENT
Before you get started it is important to make sure you have the right equipment for the program. 

To start you will need at least a rugby ball and around 20 cones (or things that can pass as cones/markers). Some of the drills incorporate ladders but these can be made up using cones.
